Problem connecting multiple Wiimotes

Description

I want to connect seven wiimotes to one bluetooth dongle. Seven is the maximum number of bluetooth connections, so this should work. After having successfully connected five wiimotes, I always fail to connect the sixth (and the seventh).

I get the error:

Socket connect error (control channel)
socket receive error: Connection reset by peer (104)
Segmentation fault

Could this have something to do with the bluetooth timing issues described in another post ?

Has somebody allready connected seven wiimotes or has an idea to fix my problem ?

I am using libcwiid version 0.6.00.

Thanks,

flokadillo

I also get the error "unable to connect" when connecting the sixth wiimote with wmgui (I have to open wmgui six times)

Maybe six connections are just too many. Maybe it would work with two dongles. So far I haven't found where to specify the address of the local bluetooth device (=dongle) in the connect.c, to try it with more than one dongle. I will try if I can get it work later.
